LEADERSHIP
Steven Sherry is a lifelong Fullertonian and a dedicated advocate for good governance and civic engagement. He grew up attending Fullerton public schools before earning degrees from Fullerton College and UC Berkeley.
Steven began his career as a lobbyist for the City of Fullerton with Townsend Public Affairs, where he helped identify key municipal needs and secure funding for city projects through grants and the legislative process. For over a decade, he has also worked in political campaigns, founding his own consulting firm, NewWave Strategies, in 2020. Through his firm, Steven has raised millions for clients nationwide and built highly effective, resourceful advertising campaigns.
In addition to his professional work, Steven has served on the Fullerton Transportation and Circulation Commission and has been an outspoken advocate for transparency, accountability, and community-focused leadership. As Executive Director of Fullerton Forward PAC, Steven brings his expertise, vision, and deep ties to the community to guide the organization’s mission of powering a better future for all Fullertonians.
